OZRIC TENTACLES Waterfall CitiesTo start I must admit that I have several Ozric CD's in my collection before I heard this. How do they do it keep turning out these little gems, about 18 albums to date since 1994. I think that this is one of Ozric's more enjoyable album it did not leave my players for hours. Maybe it's because I love instrumental albums, How often have you heard a great band with lousy singer? no problem here If you have not heard the Ozric before get a listen. I can hear many influences from in this album, a touch of krautrockers Kraan, some of the drumming reminded me somewhat of Phil Collin's Brand X, some scorching Guitar, some great Bass lines, loads of keyboard effects, some eastern sounds and rhythms you have what seems to be Britain's premier psychedelic Trance Band. I saw the Ozrics live just once at a festival and they were great live too! Material 7/10 Sound Quality 9/10 Recommended TH | |
